Minas Tirith banner-bearer

I know that a lot of people enjoy battle reports more than conversions. Unfortunately, we do not play so often as we wish. Especially this period of year, we do not play at all due to Summer vacations.
I am thinking to start a new project, a warband of Osgiliath Veterans. I have Cirion, the Lieutenant of Amon Barad, "the boldest of the bold" and a set of three Osgiliath Veterans, not painted yet. And I have to convert nine Warriors of Minas Tirith to complete a full warband. Although, if you have Cirion you do not need a banner-bearer, I made this miniature first. I used greenstuff for the cloak and its fur, a GB shield and the spear of a Knight of Minas Tirith as the flag. Below you can see the final result, the initial miniature of Warrior of Minas Tirith with his spear and some stages of the conversion procedure.

I would like to welcome EinarOlafson and WNT to my blog.
   That's it for today. Enjoy!

    1. Scott, the head is from a DeAgostini issue "Battle games in middle earth" which had a set of spare heads, hands, weapons, etc.
