Ruins WIP 3

Today I sat at my new workbench and made some progress with the ruins. This time, I used white acrylic putty and not the usual black wood one. It is easier to work with it, because it doesn't dry so fast. Here are the photos:

New home

Finally we managed to move to our new home! It isn't bigger than the previous but here I don't have to use our dinner table as my workbench because I have found my "place under the sun".
I renovated an old cupboard used as a bookcase and three old nightstands to create my little "workshop". I am eager to start using it, at least for a short period of time since I am moving again! This time temporarily, for three years, but far away, to another country!

Cavalry of the Dead WIP

Cavalry of the Dead is another WIP for my Fiefdoms army. I started this one though I haven't finished the Warriors of the Dead yet! The original miniatures of the Riders of Rohan were the ones which I chose to convert this time. As the hero of the force I assigned the mounted figure of King Isildur to become the King of the Dead! He is a king after all!
I used three Vallejo colours so far, black as the base colour, fluo green (72104) for the wash, and green gray (70886) for the first highlight. I intend to use pastel green (70885) as the second highlight and next I 'll paint the metallic parts of the weapons, the hair of the riders and the mane of the horses. Till then, you can see the riders as they are for the moment:

Ruins WIP 2

These are the last four pieces of ruins. Totally, they are twenty two. Next step is to cover them with putty, little stones and sand. I will move soon to another apartment, so all my hobby activities have became second priority. That's why I don't post so often as I would like to!
