Terrain pieces: a hen house and a stockyard pen

A very Happy New Year to all of you!

I made two more terrain pieces for our Bolt Action games, a hen house and a stockyard pen. Generally, I try to avoid using gear from specific historical periods on my terrain, for example medieval weapons, modern car wheels, etc. This way the pieces I use are proper not only for WWII battles but for other wargame periods as well.

For both, the hen house and the stockyard pen, I used balsa wood, acrylic water based putty, little rocks, sand and static grass. Below you can see photos of the pieces before and after the painting, and also from our Bolt Action tabletop battles.

That's it for today! Stay tuned for more!

    1. Thank you very much Michael!
I have the "farmyard animals" box of Warlord Games and I will add chickens, ducks, geese, pigs and little piglets to the builds soon!
