Scots Soer-Chele and Jimena de la Frontera

The first warriors of the two Scots Soer-Chele points are ready!

A nice LBMS Scottish shield transfer.

Some months ago, I visited the historic town of Jimena de la Frontera. The castle of the town was built on the hill by the Grenadian Moors around 750 AD. Seven centuries later, in 1465, it was integrated into the Kingdom of Castille.

Saga Gall-Gaedhill (Sons of Death) and Ceuta

A warband of Norse and Gaelblood mercenaries is ready to serve as Swords for Hire. The miniatures are Gripping Beasts plastic Dark Age warriors, Warlord Games plastic Celtic warriors and a metallic Celtic slinger.

The Sons of Death

Below you can see how I converted each of the miniatures using green stuff and the mixture of heads and weapons from Gripping Beasts Dark Age warriors and Saxon Thegns. The shield transfers are Little Big Men Studios.

I don't know the manufacturer of this Celtic slinger.

Recently my wife and me, we visited the Spanish city of Ceuta. A very interesting place, located on the north coast of Africa!
