Drûzhag, The Beastcaller

Drûzhag is vile, even by the standards of other Goblins - so much so that he was exiled long ago from Durbûrz's kingdom of Moria. Yet Drûzhag did not perish in the wilderland. He prospered, and learnt how to bend to his will all manner of dark beasts. With the aid of his minions, he returned to Moria and forged a new realm in the darkness, a chiefdom at war with Durbûrz's kingdom. This only serves to make Moria more dangerous to the other realms. Though Durbûrz and Drûzhag hate each other, they are more than willing to combine their forces against any interloper.
Here is my Drûzhag in all his glory surrounded by Giant Bats!

I used cork, balsa woods and plaster for his base. I placed him on it so that he is higher than his Goblins and matches the Giant Bats level at the same time.

I painted his cloak with bright colour, Blue Violet (811) to contrast the colour of the dark bats.

That's it for today! Stay tuned for more!

Goblin Prowlers

Every Goblin King has a few carefully chosen warriors that he relies on to instill loyalty in the rest of his force. These devious and cruel warriors are known as Prowlers, and they stalk the caves and tunnels of his realm, ensuring that tributes are paid, and disposing of dissenters with a knife in the back. Though Goblin Prowlers are more skilled than the rest of the Goblin horde, they shun the idea of a fair fight and are at their most dangerous when their enemy is cornered and outnumbered! Their "Backstabbers" special rule performs this feature!
Though Prowlers may be given orc bows, two-handed weapons or shields, the GW models carry only the two-handed weapons.

I didn't follow the GW red-black painting scheme for my Prowlers. I chose to paint their hoods with brown colours and their tunics blue to match my Goblin Drummers!

Dwellers in the Dark (a colony of them...)

Dwellers in the Dark are ready, all four of them! These creatures are smaller than Balrog but  incredibly evil and they cost less points, even all four together. They have a S of 5, 3 attacks and 3 W which can be regained thanks to "Murderous Power" Special Rule! They are really tough opponents for their hatred Dwarves!

Dwellers in the Dark WIP (Part 3)

Unfortunately, Dwellers in the Dark are still on the workbench!  I work at such a slow pace that it will take a few more days to finish the whole colony! Anyway, below you can see some photos of what I have done so far:

I had to change the base of the right Dweller because I wanted to raise his height. This took a lot of time but now there is an escalation of the Dwellers height and the difference between the original Dwellers and the converted ones are not so sharp!

The new base
