Gundabad Blackshields Goblins WIP

Hello! This is my first post after six months of silence. Although I had as a rule to publish at least one post every month, several problems forced me not to follow this rule the current year.
First of all, since I used Windows XP till last summer, one day everything on my laptop was blocked due to lack of any upgrades. Furthermore, Picasa program stopped its function. There I kept all my photos and it was the program I used to add watermarks on them, etc! In addition to all these my work kept me super busy all this period of the year.
Anyway, now I am back! I would like to say that my blog became 9 years old in August. I hope to be more prolific next year! Meanwhile, I bought the Oathmark Goblins box and one of their blisters. I intend to use them as Gundabad Blackshields Goblins so that my Grim Hammers will have a well-equipped combative opponent.
Below you can see their King, a Captain, a Shaman, some banners, a drummer and three group of warriors, two with hand weapons (swords, axes, etc.) and the third with spears.
That’s all for today! See you next year. Stay safe!

Grim Hammers

Grim Hammers are the only dwarves I have from "Hobbit". They are really nice miniatures of hard plastic except for their Captain which is a resin one.

The box contains twelve miniatures. I kept eleven as they were and converted the twelfth.

Nine so far.

I had a Carnyx from the Celtic warriors command sprue and I thought it was a nice idea to give it to one of the grim hammers.

First, I cut the dwarf's hands that held the pick hammer.

Then, I glued the open hands of another miniature to their places.

And here are the last two grim hammers with the Carnyx player, the twelfth grim hammer!

Below you can see some photos of the first battle that my grim hammers took part. They were victorious! Enjoy!

That's it for today! Stay tuned for more!

Knights of Minas Tirith

The Knights of Minas Tirith are the pride of Gondor's armies. My unit consists of eleven Knights and a Standard Bearer.

The Standard Bearer

The flag is the Boromir's famed banner of the White City. The White Tree of Gondor on the flag is a free hand drawing as well as the four stars of the other side.

I painted green the pennants, the scabbards and the saddle clothes. I added yellow flowers on each base in contrast to the green and black colours of the Knights.
