Soviet sailors part 2 (Чёрная Смерть)

This is the second squad of Soviet sailors. Like the first squad, it consists of an officer, a NCO and naval troopers. One of the sailors has a Degtyaryov anti-tank single-shot rifle (Противотанковое однозарядное ружьё системы Дегтярёва PTRD-41), two sailors have LMGs, i.e. Degtyaryov's infantry machine guns (Пулемёт Дегтярёва пехотный DP-28), while the rest have SMGs, i.e. Shpagin machine pistols (Пистолет-пулемёт Шпагина PPSh) or rifles.

The Nine Ringwraiths

As you probably know from my previous post about Barrow-wights I used only one miniature of the "Chainrasp Hordes" box. So, I decided to use the rest nine as the black riders, the nine Nazguls! These miniatures are so nice and creepy.

Statues

Every time a spray bottle gets empty I keep its cover. The covers are very nice as pedestals for statues I use as terrain pieces. Below you can see two of them:

Apart from the spray covers, sometimes I keep also the mirrors from my wife's compact powder boxes. So, I added another dwarf mirror to my collection of mirrors and mine workings.

While I was walking by the beach the other day, I found one of the secret entrances of Moria.

Barrow-wights

The Moria & Angmar rulebook has a scenario "The barrow-downs", where the participants from the evil side are four Barrow-wights. Since I had only one, it was time to use my Chainrasp hordes and Myrmourn Banshees miniatures of the "Age of Sigmar" game. I bought them because they are very nice and cheap if you compare with the Lord of the Rings miniatures.

My old original Barrow-wight and the two Banshees

The Banshees come with 30mm bases, which I used to put two of my Giant Bats.

I followed the colour scheme of my old Barrow-wight in order to look all as a unit.

I wish you all a very Happy New Year!
That's all for today! Stay tuned for more!
